Today i’m going to introduce PUTRA LRT line colored as pink line in the Kelana Jaya – Terminal Putra line.
This trains stops at KLCC.
Let’s start with places you can visit when you stops at these train stations:
Terminal Putra: Here you can buy bus ticket to skyway and from skyway cable straight to Genting Highland. While you’re in Genting Highland, you can gamble in their casino, watch concerts and basically entertain yourself in Genting Highland themepark, which is great if you have kids. Go on weekdays, because usually it’s pack during weekends. And always remember to book your hotel earlier if not, you’ll have no where to sleep at night.
Taman Melati: Every Tuesday there is a pasar malam here. Other than that, it’s housing area. It’s around Ong Tai Kim Supermarket. KL Festival Mall, Carrefour, Giant via taxi
Wangsa Maju: College student room and house rent, Carrefour, Wangsa Walk shopping centre, chinese food eateries
Sri Rampai: It’s a new station, some say you can go to Wangsa Maju Carrefour from here, but i’ve not try before.
Setiawangsa: Eastern Restaurant (Saba Restaurant) cross the linking bridge
Jelatek: Housing area
Dato Keramat: Housing area
Damai: Housing area
Ampang Park: Ampang Park shopping mall, InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, formerly Nikko Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Citibank (tunnel linking on both ends)

Pasar Seni: Central Market shopping mall, extremely near China Town Petaling Street just across pasar seni station, Kota Raya shopping centre. Non halal famous food (petaling street portuguese grilled fish, Koon Kee Wantan, Mee, Madras Lane Chee Cheung Fun located inside wet market (pss: i prefer cross road petaling street chee cheung fun stall better than this madras one). KL Sentral: KTM Komuter straight to Midvalley shopping center, to KLIA, LCCT, Brickfields Little India (right across the road from KL Sentral station nearby KL Sentral Monorail (marked as red line).
Bangsar: Free shuttle bus to Midvalley Shopping Mall, or take bus to Midvalley Shopping Mall or taxi. Or walk to Midvalley Shopping mall.
Abdullah Hukum: Housing area

Taman Jaya: Amcorp Mall Shopping Centre (just across taman jaya station), renew IC at walking distance JPN (Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara), A&W Restaurant

Take monorail and stop at Titiwangsa Monorail station it’s 10 min walking distance.
I’m boarding PUTRA LRT train route, i want to board monorail where should i take monorail?
Stop at Dang Wangi PUTRA line and cross over bridge to take bukit nenas monorail station.
I’m now at Pavilion, i need to take the monorail where should i take?
Either at Wisma Genting (Chulan monorail) or Sungai Wang (Bukit Bintang Monorail)
I need to go to KL Tower, how can i get there?
KL Tower station is on the Putra LRT Line (Dang Wangi station) or KL Monorail (Bukit Nanas Station). About 15 mins walk.
How to go to Muzium Negara?
Take taxi from Pasar Seni or Kl Sentral, there is no train to Muzium. i don’t know about bus because it’s located near highway.
How to go to Zoo Negara
Take a taxi, the nearest is Wangsa Maju station therefore hail a taxi from this station.
How to go to Batu Caves?
Take a taxi, the nearest is Terminal Gombak, Taman Melati and Wangsa Maju station
How to get to the Istana Negara?
Take a taxi from KL Sentral station 5 mins to 10 mins away, there is no pedestrian walk way, it’s a highway and very dangerous to walk. nothing to do here because it’s not opened for public, you can only view the daily guards on duty.
I’m now at Pasar Seni LRT station (also known as Central Market station), and i want to get to Sungai Wang, how can i get there?
Stop at Dang Wangi station and take Bukit Nenas Monorail and stop at Bukit Bintang monorail station or you can take the new free shuttle bus right infront of pasar seni station
I need to get to Tune Hotel, which is the nearest train station?
Stop at Chow Kit Monorail and walk up to Tune hotel (formerly sentosa medical centre an ex hospital)
How to go to Sunway Pyramid using lrt train?
Stop at Kelana Jaya LRT station then take a bus or taxi.
