CEO Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes officially tweeted in his twitter and Facebook announcing Sir Richard Branson (Virgin Atlantic founder) will be onboard AirAsia X Flight as stewardess on May 1st, 2011 after he lose his bet in F1 bet Racing recently. Sir Richard Branson who owns Virgin Racing Team lose to Lotus Racing team of Fernandes.
According to Tony, Branson was supposed to serve as stewardess on the AirAsia X flight from London to Kuala Lumpur on Feb 21, but was delayed after he injured his knee and could not put on the high heels to go with the stewardess outfit.
AirAsia X flight seats are now on sale at AirAsiaGo and all money will go to charity. DJ and Eddie Jordan will also be performing, tweeted by Tony Fernandes.
For those who couldn’t be on the flight, fret not as a party, with Tony and Richard will be held on the evening of May 2, 2011 at the Putrajaya Marriot Hotel & Spa. All tickets and packages for the flight and party are available on right here on AirAsiaGo.com.
All proceeds collected from the sale of seats and special collector’s item which include personal items donated by Tony and Richard for the charity cocktail evening will be donated to the beneficiaries identified by AirAsia & Virgin Unite (the non profit foundation of the Virgin Group).
