If you love swimming and are not afraid of height, then you will love this. Infinity pool 55 storeys above ground in Singapore worth £4bn.
This infinity pool is three times the length of an Olympic pool and 650ft up, it is the largest outdoor pool in the world at this height.
The roof is called Skypark Sands which perched atop the three towers that make up the world’s most expensive hotel, £4billion Marina Bay Sands development in Singapore.
Infinity pools gives the effect as thought the water extends to the horizon but in real fact,water is spills over to the edge into a catchment below, and then pumped back into the pool. This pools have two circulation systems. The 1st functions like that of a regular pool, filtering and heating the water in the main pool. The 2nd filters the water in the catch basin and returns it to the upper pool.
Beside the swimming pool, on the roof there are also restaurants, spas, parks with 250 trees and 650 species of plants and an observation deck to view the city skyline of Singapore.
