earthTV is a German satellite television network which airs live broadcasts of camera streams from places all around the world. The network features a mix of both personal and scenic cams. Personal cams are often chosen to be aired for unique contents or themes, and scenic cameras usually feature beaches, mountains, seaside resorts, or skylines of major cities. They now have over 70 cameras and air the World LIVE in 200 countries, reaching more than 2 billion viewers daily.
The cameras for live streaming are fully remote controlled from the broadcast center in Munich. The programme from cities and landscapes is transmitted from the headquarters in Munich and from there they are sent in various formats to the worldwide partners under the name of World Live or similar ones, claiming to reach 2 billion viewers in 200 countries, available in 10 languages and broadcast across 40 TV stations.
