Tying the knot
MEDIA Corp stars, Melaka-born Christopher Lee and Fann Wong have decided to go ahead with their wedding this year, with the consent from their parents.
After the death of Lee’s father in February, the couple, both 38, needed to register their marriage within 100 days to proceed with the wedding.

It is customary for Chinese couples with marriage plans to wed within 100 days of a bereavement, or wait three years.
Lee and Fann revealed on Monday in a press release that they plan to register their marriage on May 16. It will be a private family affair.
The traditional Chinese wedding, including the tea ceremony and wedding dinner, will be held at the Shangri-la Hotel in Singapore on Sept 29.
About 700 guests are expected.
They are inviting friends, relatives, business associates, colleagues and the media to the dinner.

Fann Wong and Christopher Lee were married in a simple ceremony on Saturday.
The civil ceremony held at a local hotel was attended by family members and close friends.
The couple had been dating for nine years.
After the ceremony, the couple were off to Malaysia to pay their respects to Christopher’s elders.
The tea ceremony and dinner reception will be held in September.
